Yes, I realize that only a month ago, I was prattling on about J. Crew’s high-end line, and how I can’t reconcile their somewhat reasonable prices with their truly expensive options.

Then I saw this top. And while the sequined dresses I posted before didn’t do it for me … this top does. It’s so sparkley and colorful and springy.

I mean, look at that. There are so many colors! There’s yellow! How often do you see pink and yellow sequins, on the same top? Never, that’s how often. The top is gorgeous, and if I had the disposable income to drop on this top, I would.

Of course, in that world,  I’m also super-glamorous, with plenty of occasions to dress up. As it stands now, the only reason I dress up is to host trivia twice a week, and that’s less dressing up than it is “not wearing Converse and remembering to apply blush.”
