Hiking Rodeo Drive 4

The comfort – or, rather, the lack of comfort – of heels has long been a point of discussion.

Somehow, I don’t think that these are the answers.

Just to be clear: yes, these are $500+ heels that look like a Nike store just threw up on them.

The thing that makes me sad is, I can totally see women wearing this with workout gear, on their way to Cardio Strip Yoga.

DSquared Hiking Sandals – $595
DSquared Hiking Platform Pumps – $640

What about the hiking boot equivalent? I’m both outdoorsy and I love heels… I’m a sucker for these, though I haven’t bought them. Yet…

I think the boots posted by Nicole might be even better! I mean, let’s face it, at least the Nike throw up shoes could be part of a ridiculous 80s outfit or worn to a rave or something. Those boots with heels? Those have no future.

@ Nicole – Yeah, those are pretty bad.

@quoquo – The thing that makes me sad is, those Timberland heels have been around for a while … I can’t find any pictures, but I’m pretty sure Jennifer Lopez wore them a few years ago. I thought they’d finally died out, but apparently not.
