AND NOW, SIX GLORIOUS WEEKS OF FREEDOM.
But first, a nap …
I’m exhausted and it’s been a very long month, so today’s Friday Feets is going to be a painfully obvious one.
4th of July is Chairman Kaga’s favorite holiday. And what’s not to love, really? There are barbecues, fireworks, bunting, paper plates and napkins with the American flag on them. I love a good excuse for themed dishware.
So, here are some red and blue (with a little white) shoes. And they’re all flat-soled or wedged, because there is nothing worse than wearing heels to a barbecue and singlehandedly aerating the lawn with your stiletto.
In the car today, I realized that ModCloth was probably on ShopStyle. This was a thrilling revelation, since they have some really cute shes to link to. I love the gold chain across the front. And they’re under $35, which is a definite plus.
They’re light and airy (which I wrote as “hairy” the first time, inexplicably). A nice alternative to flip-flops, when it’s too hot to even consider wearing real shoes. And they just feel so damn classy.
I could have sworn I posted these before but can’t find them … oh, senility. Anyway, something with a little height for those of us who don’t break 5’3″. Cork, which I’m big on right now, and a glossy red. Festive, summery, and on sale (they were $339.95).
Have a good weekend, guys! And thank you for reading – the blog hit 550 fans on Facebook this week, so thanks for your support and feedback.
