The product tie-ins with New Moon have been all kinds of amazing – Wolf Pack Packing Tape? Genius. I know a graphic sweatshirt is pretty standard for movies, but this one has that patented Twilight-absurdity.

So many things to love about this picture.

1. The model’s hair. It’s so perfectly hipster, it could be the wig for a hipster Halloween costume. This is the picture that hipsters bring to their hairdressers when they want to change their look.

2. The sweatshirt itself. Edward on one side, Bella on the other, divided by a zipper. It’s like, symbolic of how they’re from different worlds, but love (and a slight draft) brings them together.

3. The fact that this model is easily in his 20s. Given that male twentysomethings aren’t the target demographic for Twilight, I’m guessing that this sweatshirt was designed to be worn ironically. Or to be worn by guys who want to pick up girls by showing how sensitive they are. Which is also creepy, because apparently there are two groups who love Twilight: teenage girls and moms.

4. The look on the model’s face. I’d like to think that he was blindfolded, dressed in the sweatshirt, and brought on set. The picture was taken when they removed the blindfold and he saw what he was wearing for the first time. You can practically hear him saying “You’re kidding, right?” to the stylist as they took this picture.

Oh my god, there’s a back. I didn’t even see this when I started the post. It’s not enough to have Edward and Bella on the sweatshirt; you need the dramatic quote to get the full effect of their epic romance.

This is so awesome. Even the model appears to understand the greatness of this sweatshirt. That smile on his face is the knowing grin of a man who realizes the joy this sweatshirt will bring to many.

I realize that this is just more evidence of how easily amused I am, but man, these pictures really do entertain  me to no end.
