We interrupt this blog to bring you late-breaking news (to me – I think it’s been in the news for a day or two already).
The Gap has gone back to their original logo. Now, my blog post isn’t credited in any of the articles on the decision, but I think we all know it’s not a coincidence that they changed their minds after my searing editorial.
The cynical side of me wonders if The Gap always intended to pull their logo, because they just wanted to get their name back in the news cycle. But no company could be that stupid, could they?
