In October, a lot of people tend to find the blog while searching for unconventional Halloween costumes. Here are a few of my favorites from the last few weeks:
“Hooker Ho Costume”
I find this one wildly amusing because my grandmother used to call hookers “ho hos.” True story.
I’m not sure what a hooker ho is, but I’m guessing it doesn’t incorporate a delicious snack made by Hostess. I’m curious to see how this costume turned out, if for no other reason than to find out exactly what is required of a hooker ho costume.
“Rufie and Pregnancy Test Costume”
Wow. Just … wow. I did a search to see if this is a real costume, and I don’t think it is. I can’t decide if that makes me feel better about the state of the world or concerned for the person who thought the costume might exist.
And, of course, my favorite: not one, but TWO searches for a certain Star Wars costume.
“Sexy Wookie Costume”
Before I started writing this blog, I would have found the very idea of a Sexy Wookie Costume to be absurd. But now that I’ve gone down this rabbit hole, it makes perfect sense to me. In fact, if you search for “Sexy Wookie Costume” – and, apparently, many people do – they can find a post about it. I’m not sure what it says about my sanity, but it does speak volumes about the blog.
