There’s a lot of really remarkably generous disaster-relief out there – yesterday, Forever 21 donated 100% of their sales for the day to disaster relief in Japan. A partial list of other retailers donating portions of proceeds is here. Or, if you’re a huge Blink 182 fan with money to burn, check out their eBay auctions.
Of course, if you’re looking for something a little more home-grown, Etsy is full of people who are donating at least part of their sales to Japan. You can find a full listing here.
I’ve surfed through them all, and here are some of my favorites. I’m presenting most of them without comment because a) there are a lot, and b) I just spent an entire day wading through 7,000+ items. Because there are so many, I’m breaking this Friday Feets up into several different posts.
Keep in mind, some of the donation periods on the items might have ended by the time you’re reading this, so make sure to double-check that that proceeds are still being donated.
