I just scored a sweet pair of Betsey Johnson shoes at a consignment store last week! They’re red and black plaid pumps with fluorescent pink floral soles. I will wear them in memorium of the fluorecent pink-est clothing line ever.

This is a fantastic and insightful post. Although I’m sure that wasn’t the makers’ intent, these costumes actually normalize and approve of government surveillance and physical violation. I know that gets me in a celebrating spirit.

Thanks! I named him Kit because I couldn’t say “Kitsune” without feeling kind of like a tool … I’m way too white and my accent is way too terrible to give the dog a Japanese name. It worked out well since everyone says “Kit, oh, like a kit fox!” and then I just smile and nod like it was totally intentional.
